Who we are

Water Voice is a space where stories, science, and community perspectives on water come together. We collaborate with researchers, storytellers, and advocates to highlight diverse experiences and deepen public understanding of water issues. Our aim is to create meaningful conversations that inspire awareness, connection, and change.

Water Voice is hosted by Ali Kandi, a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Edith Cowan University, focusing on water, energy, and sustainability. Ali is passionate about bringing together diverse voices, researchers, Indigenous leaders, and community advocates to shape new conversations around water justice and futures.
